I feel the hubworld is better in III by a longshot. There really doesn't feel like there's very much to do, and that's where the Clone Wars hub comes in. There's a counter to buy things at, six rooms for each Episode with six levels, an extras room to create a custom character and duel, and a small outside area. While the Mos Eisley Cantina is one of the most iconic locations Star Wars history, it's very small with limited features as a hubworld in TCS (however it was notably a massive improvement over the Mos Eisley Cantina hub in II). On to my first defense of III, I feel as if the hub world in III is way better than TCS's hubworld by a longshot. This was the most obvious point, since the standard for a modern game has gotten higher and higher over the years, so really any game released before 2015 would be considered "Not To Standard" if it were released today (the exception would probably be mobile games).

You know it, I know it, there's no point in denying it. It would, at the most, meet the standard of a mobile game.

If TCS were released today instead of 2007 and on the modern consoles, it would be shit on due to its overly simplistic level system, lazy character designs, and the graphics. I personally like III because I feel as if it took almost all of the aspects of TCS and vastly improved upon them in many ways.įirst and foremost, the graphics were largely improved.
#LEGO STAR WARS TCS WALKTHROUGH SERIES#
Since TCS and III are the only games in this series that I remember the most and spent the most time on, that's why I am talking about these. TCS improved upon I and II, III improved upon TCS, in my small time of gameplay of TFA it was clear it improved upon III, and hopefully TSS will improve upon all of the past games. Companies that care about what they make if they make games in a franchise(in this case, Traveler's Tales Games with the LEGO Star Wars games) and want to continue the franchise will look at their most recent title and think: "How can we take certain parts of this game and improve upon them in the next?" It's clear that TT Games thinks about this with LEGO Star Wars, as there is a clear improvement in the design and gameplay of each game. So why do I think "Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars" is a better game? Well, as what most franchises tend to do, the games that are produced get better as time goes on and the staff gains more experience and expertise in making games. TCS has definitely made an impact on millions of people around the world, and made an impact on me and my enjoyment of Star Wars And yes, the Gonk Droid design in TCS is better than it's design in III.

A lot of people really really like TCS because most of them were very young when they played it, including me, and the nostalgia factor really is one of the key aspect of what makes this game so beloved to this day, and I kick myself every day for selling my copy of the DS port of TCS at GameStop because I would kill to go play it again.
#LEGO STAR WARS TCS WALKTHROUGH PC#
I had the DS port of TCS, (which was worse when compared to the console and PC versions, although it did have DS exclusive mini games which were pretty fun for a six year old to play,) but I was able to play the Wii version at my friend's houses and had a really fun time with both ports of TCS. I just want to share my opinion, and it is not to bash on TCS in any way. But if someone wants to share a controversial opinion online about how they believe LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is better than LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, they should expect to receive some negative comments about it since TCS is widely considered to be the better game. If someone's serious opinion on something as severe as, say, murder was "yeah, I like murder", that's obviously not ok and that person should be hated for that. Their opinions don't have to be liked by everyone who hears them, and that's ok. Look, people have different opinions and those opinions matter to them, which is important.
